What do we want?

I have been bumping into wisdom on and off today. I felt acknowledged and a lil bit wise:) When I came across this quote by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, I immediately felt like sharing it here on my blog.

“Oh the comfort, the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person, having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all right out, just as they are — chaff and grain together — certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and with the breath of kindness blow the rest away.…”

Another quote by Stephen Levine comes in reference too.

“Open your body and your mind to the subtler levels of experience, letting go of your attempt to control, to be right, not worrying about appearances, not trying to be safe.”
